Singer/songwriter Willy DeVille led the band Mink DeVille from the mid-'70s to the mid-'80s, though it had a changing personnel and was basically a platform for him and his songs. In 1987, he launched a solo career, collaborating with Dire Straits guitarist Mark Knopfler on Magic. "Storybook Love," a track from the album, was used as the theme from the movie 'The Princess Bride,' which Knopfler scored.
