Pécs, Pecs 7621

Welcome,

In the recent years, novel auto-antibodies have been recognized, which defined new neurological syndromes and changed the concept of old diseases. Diagnostic and treatment guidelines have been updated and new assays have been developed. On the other hand, antibody-based biological therapies provide promising options in the treatment of multiple sclerosis.

A thorough and rational assessment of the pathobiology of antibody-mediated injury, together with a systematic bedside approach serve as preequisites for any breakthrough in patient care. This focused symposium will provide a platform for current practical and theoretical thinking and offer a unique environment for the exchange of new concepts and strategies. Novel treatment options and evidence-based guidelines will be discussed by prominent clinicians and scientists.

Pécs, the host city of the conference, is one of the most ancient and beautiful setlements in Hungary with a cozy Mediterranean atmosphere and lively environment. Most salient features of the city are registered in the World’s Cultural Heritage designation (UNESCO). With its over 2000-year history, Pécs is a city of rich cultural heritage and art, and has appropriately been designated the European Capital of Culture in 2010.

As hosts of this exciting symposium we look forward to warmly welcoming you to Pécs.
