Embroidered Treasures: Textiles From Central Asia July 1, 2012

This exhibition features more than a dozen bold, colorful embroidered textiles from Central Asia. These stunning late 19th- to early 20th-century textiles include wall hangings, covers, a wedding canopy, and saddle covers made in Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
