Elly Hoyt will be mesmerising audiences with a sultry night of jazz at the Kew Court House on Friday 9 November, 7:30pm.

Embarking on her solo career from the age of 13, Elly projected onto the Australian jazz scene performing alongside esteemed jazz musicians James Morrison, Tony Gould and David Jones, to name a few. It didn't take her long to make her mark within the genre, cementing a reputation as a rising star.

In 2010, Elly launched her debut album, which earned her the 2011 Australian Jazz Bell Award in the Best Australian Jazz Vocal Album category.

For one night only, Elly will be singing her signature tracks from the album at the Kew Court House, which promises to be a magicial night of jazz. She will be accompanied by James Sherlock (guitar), Sam Bates (drums) and Tom Lee (double bass).

"From the moment I first heard Elly sing, I knew she had that classic indefinable think that makes a jazz singer...this is the real thing." James Morrison.

"She sounds as if she belongs in a jazz bar in Manhattan." Stephen Matchett - The Australian.
