Elizabeth Catlett: Recent Sculpture April 24, 2009

The sculputres are in wood, marble, onyx and bronze. Catlett's work celebrates African-American identity, and it is to the female form that she pays the most frequent homage. She moves between figurative and expressionist and abstract forms in her work.
