Elixir of Love July 30, 2010

Spring has sprung in the Italian countryside and young Nemorino desperately tries to win the love of beautiful and wealthy Adina with the help of a mysterious elixir provided by the shady Doctor Dulcamera. Though the elixir turns out to be red wine of a dubious vintage, there is no doubt that the appeal of Donizetti's charming music and amusing story is very real.
