In the heart of the forest of Karnataka which shelters a vast population of elephants, Prajna Chowta and the director Philippe Gautier have filmed these animals at a never-before proximity for a documentary series comprising of 52 minutes. The elephants and the People: Elaborates the unique relationship between the people and the elephants in Asia since antiquity until our days, from the balance of power to the mutual assent. Meetings with some remarkable animals: Confronted by the most important human population of the world, the wild elephant loses its housing environment and suffers from a permanent conflict with the man.
