Elena Basksht, Pianist May 25, 2008

Born in Moscow, Elena Basksht was raised in a musical setting--her father is celebrated pianist and teacher Dmitri Bashkirov. She continues this musical legacy--performing with leading orchestras around the world, and serving as the founder and artistic director of Jerusalem's first international chamber music festival.
