Summer of Glaciers applies textures of introspective mood core to the strata of the psyche. Wistful and pensive, there is an underlying melancholy tinged with angst that makes each song a unique insight into the never-where of existence, whether it be at the frantic core of the urban, or behind crumbling facade of the sub-urban.

Originally from South Orange, NJ, Ari Metz received his BFAS from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2004. Since that time, he has studied glass throughout the country, including the Pilchuck Glass School and the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. Currently living in San Francisco, Ari creates his own art and jewelry, and works at the Nikolas Weinstein Studios.
