“Eject!” a new exhibition that explores the history of ejection seats in aviation will open at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue) in Manhattan, on Saturday, October 1st.

“Eject!” will showcase ejection seats used in the Korean War era through the present. The seats will be accompanied by graphic panels and a video presentation that will provide a vivid history of ejection seats, their importance to pilots and an examination of their evolution. While visiting the exhibit, visitors will be able to sit in a real ejection seat.

The exhibition will run from October 1st through February 5th.
