Worldwide, the Eiteljorg Fellowship for Native American Fine Art is the most important program honoring contemporary Native American fine artists. Fellows receive cash awards and are featured in an exhibition of their work and publication of a related book. Significant examples of their art are also acquired for the museum's permanent collection.
