‘EIGHT’ – International Film Festival on the Millennium Development Goals September 17, 2010

This is one-of-a-kind short film festival where 8 films will be screened by international renowned directors like Mira Nair, Wim Wenders, Gus Van Sant etc, on the Millennium Development Goals and will also serve as a platform to honor films made by over 50 budding Indian Film makers. It will also include a panel discussion on ‘How Theatre, Art and Culture help connect with the masses and bridge the rich-poor divide’ – By Kunal Kapoor, Dilip Cherian and Mike Pandey.
This film festival is to sensitize the people about achieving the MDGs. The event will be held on 17th Sept.'10 from 6:00pm to 09:15pm at India Islamic Cultural Centre, Lodhi Road and on 18th Sept.’10 from 11:00am to 05:00pm at Nehru Auditorium, Teen Murti Bhavan.
