Effective Parenting as a Couple July 27, 2012

Every child born into this world possesses a set of genes that are specially selected from a joint pool derived from its parents. Hence, it only makes sense that the presence of both the father and a mother are important in helping to determine the well-being of the child. A child ideally needs both parents to flourish and grow into a healthy person.

This talk on “Effective parenting as a couple” seeks to empower parents to work together as a team to impart values and knowledge in shaping their children’s behaviour. Participants will be able to gather useful parenting tips in their desire to nurture a well-adjusted child and strengthen their family life.


Speaker’s Profile: Ms Wendy Koh

Wendy has many years of experience in preparing couples for marriage. She conducts talks on Family Life in both English and Mandarin. She has a wealth of experience in facilitating parenting workshops at the National Library, child care and student care centres, schools and community clubs.
Wendy’s passion is to impart knowledge and to increase awareness among parents by helping them instil the right values in children. She is enthusiastic about investing her time and efforts in character-building of children, youths and families.
