This workshop encompasses the introduction of NBC's large inventory of behavior intervention techniques proven to be effective with the developmentally disabled individuals to modify maladaptive behavior. It includes the development of intrinsic motivation and fostering creative activities for developmentally disabled individuals within the scope of a behavior modification program. In addition, participants will receive specific and useful information regarding: verbal praises, written praises, tangible rewards, delineation between the need for specific types of behavioral intervention techniques, modeling behavioral techniques, training to staff, writing techniques as part as a behavior support plan.
