Edwards S Curtis: Photography of Native Americans February 7, 2009

Sure that the Native American way of life was diminishing, Curtis set out on a five-year mission to photograph the people o of the western United States and Canada. Thirty years later, he had visited 80 tribes and taken more than 40,000 photos.
