Edouard Lock: La La La Human Steps November 11, 2008

This November, the ever-inventive Canadian choreographer Édouard Lock returns to the Brooklyn Academy of Music (Amelia, Spring Season 2005) with La la la Human Steps, a contemporary dance troupe of supremely disciplined dancers, performing Amjad. The ballet presents romanticism even as it plays havoc with notions of love, gender, and narrative.

On November 13 at 6 pm, a special Artist Talk with Édouard Lock will be held at the BAM Rose Cinemas.
