Organized by Barbara Baruch of Brooke Alexander Editions and Susan Inglett of I.C. Editions, Editions/Artists? Books ?05 will once again take place at the Starrett Lehigh Building in Chelsea located at 601 West 26 Street, 14th Floor, New York, New York.
Timed to coincide with the IFPDA Print Fair and a citywide ?Print Week? to promote the medium of prints through exhibitions and symposia, Editions/Artists? Books ?05 brings the history of print publishing up to the minute. The opening night reception on Thursday, November 3rd from 5 to 8 PM will serve as a benefit for Printed Matter, an independent not-for-profit organization founded to heighten the visibility of artists' publications. A first this year, the Fair is pleased to announce that Richard Tuttle will be designing an artist?s book/exhibitor catalogue to be distributed only at the Fair. In addition, a special limited edition by Vik Muniz will be produced to benefit Printed Matter and will be made available the opening night with purchase of a Benefit/Edition ticket.
