He's on at 9pm, but if you want to eat there you need to arrive before 8.30pm.

Ed Laurie is a hotly tipped singer-songwriter who eschews the simple strum-and-sing mentality of most of his contemporaries. Adopting the nylon string guitar as his instrument of choice and accompanying it with his delicate haunting baritone, Ed Laurie creates beautifully lush orchestrations marked by a touch of flamenco. Drawing upon influences ranging from Cesaria Evora to Nick Drake to Leonard Cohen, Ed performs with an intensity and rawness you won't soon forget. Recent supports include Lou Rhodes of Lamb and Teddy Thompson. Liam Gerner is a hot new presence in contemporary singer-songwriting. Born in Australia, he has been writing songs and performing since the age of 12, his original sound shuffles between genres: folk, alt-country, rock, and blues. Lyrically, he captures an emotional spectrum, from delicate expressions of love, to courageous political commentary. Recent gigs include the WOMAD Festival (Australia, UK), the Borderline, the 12-Bar Club and supports for Teddy Thompson. Liam is currently London based while recording his debut album at George Martin's Air Studios.
