Beryl Benacerraf ’71, clinical professor of Obstetric, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Harvard Medical School and a leading researcher in ultrasound technology will present her pioneering work in prenatal diagnosis—including the method she developed to detect Down syndrome by ultrasound—and explain how her newest focus, 3-dimensional ultrasound, promises further advances.
