Described by The Guardian, in London, as “the most fiercely resonant dance theatre of the decade,” Babel ("words") is a story- book world filled with profoundly human character dancers. A new work from one of Europe’s most successful and inventive choreographers, Babel illustrates the quest for personal identity with remarkable humor and imagination.

In addition to his own company in Belgium, Cherkaoui is associate artist at Sadlers’ Wells in London and Europe’s current “It“ boy for choreography. The company’s name, Eastman, is a literal translation of its director’s last name.
