Easter Clue Trail
10am-4:30pm daily £2 per sheet
Follow the woodland trail, solve all the clues and enter your sheet into the grand prize draw! Sheets are available from the Cafe.
Tuesday 7th April Eco-Kids 5-7 yrs
10am-10:45am and 11am-11:45am £3 child
Go green this Easter! Get planting with your own mini greenhouse made from a recycled plastic bottle. We will use homemade compost from the classroom wormery. You can even create a bug hotel for plant friendly insects. All materials provided. All children should be accompanied.
Den Building 8+yrs 1-3pm £5 child
A green home, a natural shelter or a luxury dwelling? Which will your team create?
Wednesday 8th April
Litter Bugs 4-7yrs
10:30am-12noon £4 per child
Piles of leaf little under the trees may look dead and lifeless, but look again! There are plenty of minibeasts and bugs recycling those rotting leaves and logs. All children should be accompanied.
Pond Dipping 6+yrs
Half hour sessions £1 per child
Starting at 1pm, 1:45pm and 2:30pm
Spring is in full swing and you can find plenty stirring beneath the surface of our pond. We provide all the equipment. Children under 8yrs must be accompanied for their own safety. Meet us by the Cafe.
Thursday 9th April
Easter Eggstravaganza 3+yrs
An eggceptionally smashing time to be had by all at our popular crafts and egg decorating session.
1hr session £4 per child
10am, 11:45am, 1:15pm and 3pm
In the classroom.
Egg'n Spoon races and Egg rolling!
Starting at 11:05am and 2:20pm
Near Forest Food Cafe £1 per child
Eggciting prizes to be had!
Booking essential for both crafts and races.
All children should be accompanied.
Tuesday 14th April
Ladybird Spots and Jumping Tots 2-4yrs
10:30am-11:30am £3 per child
A fun filled hour for pre-schoolers to search for grass hoppers, frogs on logs, slugs and bugs or incy wincy spiders. All children should be accompanied.
Woodland Adventure 5-7 yrs
10:30am-12noon £4 per child
FREE to Wild Woods Club members
A chance to explore woodland homes and hideaways, spot trees and plants, play games and have some fun! All children should be accompanied.
Pond Dipping 6+yrs
Half hour sessions £1 per child
Starting at 1pm, 1:45pm and 2:30pm
Waters are warming and you can find plenty stirring in the pond. Children under 8yrs must be accompanied for their own safety. Meet us by the Cafe.
Wednesday 15th April
T-Shirts to dye for!
10am-12noon 5-7yrs
Under 8yrs to be accompanied £7
1-3pm 8+yrs
Back by popular demand £9
Mother nature provides the dye and our expert provides the know how. Bring along a white/light pure cotton T-shirt (old or new) and create amazing patterns as the colours change before your very eyes.
