Easter Celebration at Maymont March 21, 2012

From egg hunts to bonnet-making, guests will delight in old and new Easter traditions during a Family Easter at Maymont on the Carriage House Lawn. Festivities include three scheduled egg hunts, moon bounces, crafts, games and other fun-filled activities. Guests can go tree-climbing or ride a zipline with Riverside Outfitters, see the Mountain Marionettes puppet company perform, or watch as illusionist John Smallie dazzles the whole family with his magical performance. Radio Disney will be on hand entertaining the crowd throughout the day. Other activities include hay rides, storytelling under the Bunny Tree, Maymont Mansion tours, and an Easter Bonnet Parade – just make sure to bring your own bonnet or make one while you’re at Maymont! A variety of snacks, beverages and light luncheon fare will be available for purchase.
$1 activity tickets will be available from 10:45 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on the day of the event; most activities require 1-8 tickets.
