East Village Opening Day Block Party April 9, 2013

East Village, San Diego – Kick off the baseball season with a Grand Slam experience in San Diego’s largest urban neighborhood as East Village celebrates Opening Day of the Padres season with the East Village Opening Day Block Party. To start off the 2013 season, the San Diego Padres will host the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Petco Park. To gear up for the game the East Village Association will throw a FREE block party on J Street between 7th and 10th Avenues from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This all ages event will feature live entertainment from local bands and DJs, tastes from local restaurants and food trucks, a micro-brew beer garden from Stone Brewing Co., a live broadcast from XX1090, interactive game zone and much more.
