** Jennifer O'Connor **
via Matador Records:
"Jennifer's career began in Atlanta, where after college she joined
Violet, a band compared to X and the Pixies. She started playing solo
after quitting Violet and moving to NYC. Her influences are other
artists with a fresh take on self-awareness, from Destroyer, Silver
Jews, Aimee Mann, and Smog, to Dylan and Petty, as well as Jay Z,
Kanye West, and Dizzee Rascal. Jennifer released her debut EP, Truth Love Work, in 2000. 'Time Out' wrote, "O'Connor is another Liz Phair
or Elliott Smith waiting to happen. Her understated guitar-based songs
lack the primping, preening and obviousness of Phair and the sad-sack
whining of Smith. Rather, her matter-of-fact lyrics tell stories that
us regular joes can relate to." Her self-released, self-titled debut
followed in 2002, and Red Panda released the acclaimed 'The Color And The Light' in May 2005."

** Lindsay Anderson **
via her website:
Lindsay Anderson is co-founder of the group L'altra and has
contributed her voice and talents to many other internationally
acclaimed artists. She has played, recorded and toured with artists
such as Edith Frost, Will Oldham/Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Telefon Tel
Aviv, Slicker, and Pulseprogramming. Known for her soaring, intimate
and honeyed vocals, Lindsay has departed from L'altra to further
explore the depth of this voice. Lindsay's debut record (to be
released in 2007) consists of simple songs with Lindsay's signature
layered melodies of wurlizer, rhodes and piano. She also takes up the
guitar on multiple tracks which expands the songwriting styles on the
album to include sweet pop, insightful folktales and powerful
rockscapes. Ultimately, this record is a haunting, dark and redeaming
journey displaying a personal and artistic growth for the artist.

** The Rats **
"THE RATS send their latest EP preview and it's off the charts.
Suicide vocals, ferocious guitars and great songs grab you by the hips
and won't let go. Rock-n-roll never dies, it just goes underground."
