East Hamsphire Armed Forces Day - Rowlands Castle June 27, 2009

Details:
In partnership with East Hampshire District Council and Rowlands Castle Parish District Council, soldiers of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers will march through Rowlands Castle on 27/6. They will start at the King’s Stone at 11am. The memorial stone marks the spot where in May 1944 King George VI reviewed the allied troops based in the area prior to D Day. The march will go past the village war memorial and end with a flag raising ceremony on the Green.
