East Elementary News-Fast ForWord Meeting

A special meeting is planned for Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 7:00 p.m. to educate parents about the Fast ForWord computer software program that some of our students will begin using next month. Fast ForWord is a series of computer-delivered exercises for students to help them develop the cognitive skills necessary for successful reading and learning. Studies have shown that these exercises can quickly move students toward grade level in the skills essential to reading. Parents are encouraged to attend on Jan. 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the library at East.
