East Dallas to Colorado! September 26, 2008

We're looking for folks in the neighborhood who would like to carpool to Colorado to do canvassing. We're hoping to be a part of the larger cause, Drive for Change: Texas to Colorado. You can sign up for this, like we did, at http://my.barackobama.com/page/s/tx2co We haven't heard back from any organizers yet, so, we're taking the bull by the horns and seeking out others to join us. Then, when we do get direction from the campaign, we should have a group that's "ready to roll." Jay Bowman has contacts in various parts of Colorado who might be able to help us with housing. This may be one weekend, or several between now and election day. We're targeting the weekend of Sept. 27 and 28 for the first trip. We would leave early the Friday before and return Monday, so it's really the 26th through the 29th.
