East Bay Open Studios, presented by Oakland's Pro Arts, is the largest and most exciting arts event in the region!This year, June 5-6 and June 12-13, more than 460 leading artists from 16 East Bay cities open their studios to the public, offering a rare opportunity for art fans of all ages to visit artists' studios, peek inside their creative process, and purchase works directly from local artists.

East Bay Open Studios is produced by Pro Arts, a nonprofit artist-based organization that provides critical access to contemporary art in Oakland and the Bay Area through its independent curated exhibitions, capacity-building artist services, open studios, juried programs, advocacy and diverse collaborative programs. This event connects the public with over 460 regional artists and is accompanied by the Directory of East Bay Arts, a Preview Exhibition in partnership with Berkeley Art Center and Richmond Art Center, and an online gallery. Last year Pro Arts exhibited 690 artists and produced 62 events drawing an annual audience of 72,000. Additionally, Pro Arts provides professional art services to partnering institutions, and provides fiscal sponsorship to artists.

Pro Arts' Gallery and Offices are located at 150 Frank H. Ogawa Plaza, Oakland CA, 94612 (at Oakland Art Gallery). The gallery is open Tuesday - Friday, 11 AM - 6 PM; and Saturday, 11 AM - 4 PM. Admission is free.
