Earth Day in Washington County April 24, 2010

Two Earth Day events will happen in Washington County on Saturday, April 24, hosted by PCC:

An Earth Celebration at Rock Creek Campus (17705 NW Springville Rd) from 10am to 1pm will focus on organic gardening, with earthen oven demonstrations, wildflower walks, vermicomposting, invasive plant spotting and more.

The Grand Opening at PCC’s Willow Creek Center 241 SW Edgeway Drive (near SW 185th and Baseline Road), will take place from 11am to 3pm, a community fair with a focus on food, fun and green building demonstrations, a farmer’s market, music, kid-friendly activities and more. Both events are free and open to the public.
