Earth Day 2007 May 6, 2007

The theme for this year's event is "Earth Day, Every Day." It is free and open to the public with ample onsite parking. This fun-filled family event strives to encourage a positive attitude toward environmental stewardship amongst all citizens. There will be over 50 interactive environmental exhibits and children's activities to help families explore and learn how to maintain an Earth-friendly view of the environment. Live entertainment and special demonstrations include Dragon Force Karate Team, Lifted Vision, Tim Morgan & the Mojo Brothers, and Alisa.

We will also have an Eco Chef Challenge modeled after the Food Network's 'Iron Chef'. Hybrid vehicles and alternative fuel vehicles will also be on display. Various food vendors will be onsite as well with items to purchase. This event is sponsored by Virginia Beach Clean Community Commission.
