Pianist/keyboardist/producer Earl Johnson was named the 2009 Jazz Artist of the Year at the Los Angeles music Awards. His CD, 'Juicy' which is a blend of funky, jazzy beats and sultry tunes has been widely received by audiences. Earl has also been music director for many premiere recording artists including Gladys Knight, Teena Marie, Chaka Khan, Jeffrey Osborne, Najee and Brian McKnight.
