Ealing Armed Forces Day June 27, 2009

Armed Forces Day will be held on Ealing Green, infront of the War Memorial at Pitzhanger Manor on Saturday 27th June 2009, 11am – 4pm.

Ealing Armed Forces Day will be an opportunity for the public to show their support of UK Armed Forces veterans, to find out more about the important work they undertake and for veterans to engage with each other and the local community.

Ealing Armed Forces Day will be attended by the Mayor of Ealing and will include fun activites supplied by the Parachute Regiment of The British Army, musical performances by the band of the Prince of Wales Division, displays by many Forces charities demonstrating the important work they do in helping veterans and their families, and an official presentation of UK Armed Forces and UK Merchant Seafarers Veterans badges to veterans by the Mayor of Ealing.

Armed Forces Day is a free evnt and is open to all - serving and ex-servicemen and women, civilians, adults and children.
