Say “¡Hola!” to "La Oportunidad Fantástica"

With Hispanic purchasing power reaching $1 trillion a year, it's no wonder so many businesses are reaching to tap this market, which includes many who are still learning English.
Do you have someone in your organization who speaks Spanish? Do you want to expose a large audience to your business' name, products and/or services?
If you can answer "¡Si!" to both of these questions, you need to be part of the Elgin Area Chamber's 7th annual Hablamos Español Expo!
To be held Saturday, March 5th, from 10-3 at The Centre (in downtown Elgin at 100 Symphony Way), this event will provide information in Spanish (and English, too!) so that many more people in our community can learn about our Chamber member businesses and the products/services they provide.
Expanded entertainment includes dance groups, musicians, radio remote broadcasts, an art show, voter registration, citizenship, healthcare, and financial literacy workshops, sports mascots, and much more! Food will also be available.
This year’s addition to promoting the event will be Telemundo, the nation’s number two Spanish-language television network. This will enable us to attract more attendees than ever so that we can promote our participating member businesses AND connect even more of our community to important information. With this and our other community partnerships, this year’s expo can be even more successful - as an event (in general) and for the participants. In fact, last year, we hosted nearly 2,000 attendees!
