The E2W INDUSTRY IMMERSION 2011 has arrived! Join us on Friday, May 13 and Saturday, May 14, 2011.

This is a one-day intensive immersion experience for industry professionals, including seasoned vocalists, musicians, models, dancers, actors, and aspiring new-comers. Kick off the event with night of mingling with your peers, as well as the event speakers and exhibitors. Enjoy an evening of great live music and meet other industry professionals. On Saturday join us for career building mini-seminars, interactive hands-on industry specific mega-workshops, and an attendee driven Q&A.

The morning program will be a fast-paced information sharing series of mini-sessions:

Mini-session 1 – Taking Care of Business: Being the CEO of your career
Mini-session 2 – Me first, Mental health & well-being in the entertainment industry
Mini-session 3 – Finances 101, Making your money work for you
Mini-session 4 – Nutrition, Eating to be the Best!

Following the lunch break participants will break out into their selected mega-workshop:

Session A: Vocal Analysis – In this session you will have an opportunity to have your vocal skills critiqued by your peers and the CEO of Eagle Entertainment Worldwide, Dev ‘Dskillz’ Eagle, CEO of Executive Decision Enterprise and A&R guru Domonique Mitchell, and personal manager to Justin Timberlake, Doug Brown. You will receive recommendations on exercising your vocal range, strengthening, tone, pitch and maintaining your breathing during performances. This session is strongly recommended for all vocalists.

Session B: Model Techniques & Tips – How should I dress for a casting call? What does my handshake say about me? When I show up for a shoot what do I do if there isn’t a makeup and/or hair stylist? These questions will be addressed during the techniques and tips session. See actual live-application make-up for the abandoned model!

Session C: Dance: Movement, Choreography, and Fluidity – Delve into the art of movement, and learn the expectations of industry choreographer. Get skills to pick up new dance techniques, and gain an understanding of fluidity, lines, and how to work your body strengths.

Session D: Acting: Being the actor/actress that every director wants – Renowned actress and casting director, Diane Dixon, will guide you in topics from reading lines in the audition to delivering a convincing performance, learn to improve, find your emotional inspiration, crying on cue, and much more.

This intense day will be concluded by a round-robin style panel discussion where our professional panelists will address your questions. Panelists include entertainment attorney Kendall Minter, Dev ‘Dskillz’ Eagle, Domonique Mitchell, internet radio show hosts Qubonna and Natalie, financial investment specialist James Hill, and many more. This opportunity to ask questions directly to experienced professionals does not come along often, so prepare your questions and expect to receive valid and relevant answers.
