For two nights only, Dusk Dances is presenting an (almost) reprise of this summer's acclaimed Withrow Park program as part of its Fall Fundraising Campaign. The program includes works by Black Ice, Sylvie Bouchard, Santee Smith, Zhenya Cerneacov, Mairéad Filgate and Brodie Stevenson, and hosted by Madame Beaucoup (Lisa Anne Ross). Also included are a musical performance by the Samba Squad and a post-show ballroom dance workshop from Zhenya Cerneacov.

While our regular summer events are pay-what-you-can, for these special fundraising events we are inviting audiences for a suggested minimum contribution of $25 per adult, to support Dusk Dances’ continued efforts to bring diverse dance to communities around the G.T.A.

Dusk Dances is an outdoor dance festival that brings an array of high quality contemporary and traditional dance to public parks. As dusk descends, a theatrical host ushers the audience - which invariably includes children, dog walkers and local residents - to five eclectic dance pieces that unfold in different areas of the park. Audiences are invited on a pay-what-you-can basis to an innovative site-specific festival, which is not only an artistic event, but a social and cultural one as well.
