Durga Puja September 27, 2006

Hindu Religious Festival organised by the London Durga Puja Dussehra Committee.

This year the clay idols were sculpted at the British Museum, mostly with local materials but with traditional rituals.

The idols will be immersed in the Thames at Putney Bridge on Dussehra (Dashami).

Followed by Bijaya Sammelani on 7th October.
