Dunmow Flitch Trials July 13, 2012

The Dunmow Flitch Trials exist to award a flitch of bacon to married couples from anywhere in the world, if they can satisfy the Judge and Jury of 6 maidens and 6 bachelors that in 'twelvemonth and a day', they have 'not wisht themselves unmarried again'.
Three trials will be taking place in Dunmow on Saturday 14th July 2012 - 10:30am, 2pm and 7pm.
All tickets for the 10:30am trial are £5 each and can be purchased in advance. This trial is of ONE couple only and will last approximately 1hr 15mins. The afternoon (2pm) and evening (7pm) trials have 2 ticket prices that can be purchased in advance, £16 & £12. These trials are both of TWO couples and will last approximately 2hrs 30mins.
