Duke Street Flag Display - Annual Event June 26, 2010

Once again this year the Duke Street Flag Display are supporting Armed Forces Day. The events will begin at 1pm were between 1.00-1.30pm there will be 3 buses leaving from The Bristol Bar taking supporters, with both adults and children encouraged to come, of the troops into George Square for the annual parade followed by a variety of free activities. These include: Live on-stage entertainment hosted by Clyde FM, Military equipment displays, Live music, Kennedy Cup Cake dancers and a Climbing wall. The buses will then return to duke street around 4pm, were there will free activities on offer again for kids such as a bouncy castle, face painting, food and soft drinks and a goody bag. This is the second year we have ran this event and last year was a great day for everyone and we hope to see as many people there as possible again.
