Dueling Garlic Mustard Pulls May 20, 2006

Stewards of Eberwhite Woods and Wurster Park, on Ann Arbor's near west side, will be hosting workdays to remove invasive garlic mustard plants (and other non-natives) from those respective areas. The EW event begins at 9am and ends at noon (possibly extending until 2pm), while the Wurster event runs from 11am to 2pm.

Wear closed-toe shoes or boots. Snacks and drinks (as well as gloves and other organizational assistance) provided at the EW event by the city's Natural Area Preservation crew.

Come to either or both events for any period of time and help maintain the beauty and ecological diversity of our local parks/natural areas. Then reward yourself with a visit to Jefferson Market or Washtenaw Dairy afterwards.
