The Irish American Heritage Center is pleased to present The Dublin City Ramblers in concert for one night only this spring. The trio is Ireland’s foremost ballad and folk group.
The Dublin City Ramblers have thrilled audiences worldwide with their unique blend of ballads, folk music, humor, wit and foot-tapping music. Their impressive career has spanned more than 35 years, with over 30 albums, top ten hits and eight gold records.
The band has toured extensively throughout Europe and North America, pleasing crowds at Dublin’s National Stadium, Cork’s Opera House, England’s Royal Albert Hall and New York’s Carnegie Hall, among others. They have headlined most major Irish Festivals worldwide, including the Milwaukee Irish Festival, the biggest Irish Festival in the world.
The Ramblers, as they are affectionately known, achieved major status from the 70’s up through the present and have created a dedicated fan base who support them where ever they go. They tour extensively, performing such classic Irish tunes as Raglan Road, The Town I Loved So Well, The Wild Rover and The Fields of Athenry.
The Dublin City Ramblers are: Sean McGuinness on lead vocals, banjo and mandolin, Derrick Keane on lead vocals and guitar and Tom Miller on bass and background vocals.
