Chestnut Street, announces two new Summer Music Series performances and two new Chicago Cabaret Professionals (CCP) Musical Mondays performances due to the overwhelming popularity of the cabaret concert programming launched in 2008. All Summer Music Series and Musical Mondays performances begin at 7:30 p.m. at Drury Lane Theatre Water Tower Place. Chicago Cabaret Professionals (CCP) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, founded in 1998 and dedicated with passion to the Art of Cabaret. CCP is an alliance of advocates of the art of cabaret who have come together to promote public appreciation of the cabaret art form. Our mission is to promote the art of cabaret by educating ourselves, our audiences, and our community through meetings, performances, benefits, workshops and networking. CCP members include cabaret performers, writers, composers, producers, directors, venues and friends. Its performing members range from seasoned performers to new aspirants. CCP collaborates with theatres organizations such as the Drury Lane, producers, venues and the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs.
