We’ll get you jacked with some java, juice and enjoyable breads early as we delve into using Node Reference fields, Taxonomy, and Embedded Media Field with CCK to publish content and user input in various dynamic layouts.

You’ll engage in a sample project to learn how to populate your site via FeedAPI and Feed Element Mapper, to control editorial content using Nodequeue, learn Auto-magic content displays using argument-driven views, and to create dynamic context-sensitive panels. Specifically you will learn to creates fields for CCK to hold media from 3rd party providers, convert feeds of various formats and to a PHP-based array for processing, image manipulation, how to configure Drupal to accept feeds, find feeds on YouTube and other providers, and create views. You will also learn some debugging techniques and how to maximize the usefulness of the content through user ratings and input, editor’s picks, and formatting.

The Workshop runs from 9 to 5, with a break midday so you can grab a quick bite at one of several nearby lunch spots, or check out the scenic grounds of Leu Gardens. Registration is limited, so sign up now.
