Drupal Meetup August 11, 2008

Next Monday we'll have the August Drupal Meetup. This is a great chance to talk about your latest projects, ask questions, or just learn more about Drupal from developers and users. This meetup is open to people with all levels of Drupaldom, and we usually get a good mix of expert to mid-level Drupal programmers, n00b developers, users, and potential users.

We'll meet at the upstairs bar at Stetson's Bar and Restaurant at 7:15 pm. At 7:30 pm, we'll open the floor to 5-minute lightening presentations. This is your chance to share the latest module you're working on, discuss a fun project, or pose a question to the group - but you only have 5 minutes so keep it short. We're taking cues from the discussion over here and will have an egg timer : ) This means there will be plenty of time after the presentations to talk in greater detail over beers. If you want to suggest a topic to discuss, post it here and come prepared to talk.

August is usually a quiet month in DC so we're expecting a smaller group than normal, but we'll still have lots of fun. In addition to Drupal talk, we'll have a foosball tournament. Please stretch and bring plenty of quarters : )
