Drupal Design Camp Boston attendees will learn and share knowledge about Drupal’s powerful templating system. Over the two days, you can expect to gain knowledge on how to use starter themes, custom templates, modify code that Drupal produces, and how use jQuery and JavaScript to enhance user experience. Also, Drupal fundamentals are part of the framework. So sign up for the camp and if you want to share something, submit a session!

Where is it and why the design focus?;

Drupal Design Camp will be held on June 13 and 14 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Stata Center, the same location as the DrupalCon Boston 2008 Code Sprint. The idea for Drupal Design Camp Boston is part of the Design for Drupal initiative and born at DrupalCon DC where a group of designers and themers united to share ideas on how to make designing in Drupal better.

Who should attend?

The goal is to share knowledge among web designers, themers, usability professionals, information architects, project managers, developers, and web companies that are using or interested in working with Drupal.

What's a camp?

Drupal Design Camp Boston is a volunteer run, nonprofit unconference. Through the generosity of our sponsors, individual contributors, and MIT for providing the space, we are able to provide this camp free to attendees.

Drupal in a Nutshell

Drupal is a wildly popular, open source content management system that powers websites from educational institutes to pop stars to newspapers to neighborhood community groups to corporations large or small. It's used by thousands of individuals and organizations around the world. Dries Buytaert, the original creator and project lead of Drupal, maintains an ongoing list of many websites built in Drupal: http://buytaert.net/tag/drupal-sites.
