One of last year’s drum’n’bass highlights was definitely BLAME making his debut in Shanghai. 3 hours of musical bliss and electrifying vibes left dnb heads wanting for more at 6 in the morning!
Blame is of course the musical protégé who crafted the undeniable Rave anthem ‘Music Takes You’ on Rob Playford’s legendary Moving Shadow label, knocked out a fine selection of atmospheric and experimental Drum & Bass as part of the Good Looking family, and since striking out on his own has established a huge cult following for his own 720º label.

Right now the pieces that are getting people hot under the collar are the fantastic ‘Stay Forever’ b/w ‘Strikeforce’ two tracks coming on the aforementioned Charge Recordings that have seen an unprecedented response from the radio DJs, featured on Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Trevor Nelson and Fabio’s shows on BBC Radio 1, playlisted by BBC 1Xtra and even dropped by DJ Johnny Doom on Kerrang! Radio… An overwhelming response to what is becoming the Drum & Bass release of the summer already.

Meanwhile, the refreshingly different sound of Blame’s new Blame Music project has been picked up by Kiss FM and BBC’s Mary Anne Hobbs (one of only a handful of D&B tracks that Ms. Hobbs has picked up on in recent times) and once more proves the diversity and skill of this legendary producer.

This month, on the return BLAME, expect to see him dropping some striking dancefloor killers; reinforced by MC Stride’s mic-control, this night promises to re-live that superb party experience.

距上次来华演出至今,Blame已有多首单曲登上舞曲排行。最近出片的单曲Stay Forever更前所未有的被英国电台BBC Radio 1一些非鼓打贝斯DJ点播,势将成为今年夏季舞曲强打。
