Drop spindling October 12, 2007

Learn to spin yarn from the drop spindle the way the native Americans did. This ancient technique is a very affordable and effective way to spin yarn for weaving, crochet, or knitting. Drop spindles will be provided for the day, but you can take one home for a small fee, if you just love to spin! Instructor, Cherri Hankins, is a professional fiber artist in Richmond, VA. We will meet from 10 am - 4 pm in the new fiber studio at the Visual Art center (formerly, the Hand Workshop Art Center).
