Comedy Central and BET favorites Drew Fraser and Tony Woods will co-headline four shows at Comix on May 22nd and 23rd.
Drew Fraser has appeared on Showtime at the Apollo, Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam, BET’s Comic View and in 2005, Drew Fraser had his own comedy half-hour special for Comedy Central Presents. He has received numerous awards for his standup acts, including the “New York City’s Funniest Male Comedian” award in 1996. In addition, Drew Fraser has done warm-ups for TV shows such as The Queen Latifah Show and in 2007, co-hosted P. Diddy’s Bad Boys of Comedy.
Tony Woods is a one-of-a-kind comedic legend that is always in control of his audience. A seasoned veteran in the comedy business, Tony is recognized not only by fans but by his peers as well as one of the best and most engaging comedians to get behind a microphone. His endless list of credits includes a Comedy Central half-hour special for Comedy Central Presents, Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam, P. Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy, Showtime at the Apollo, BET's Comic View, and the USO tour.
