Drew Emmitt Band March 9, 2008

With noted jam band Leftover Salmon planning a hiatus, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Drew Emmitt hits the road for some solo gigs. Joining him will be the band's Greg Garrison on bass, as well as noted bluegrass banjo and mandolin player Matt Flinner and guitarist Ross Martin. The Hackensaw Boys combine the primitive strains of old-time mountain and string band music with modern-day sensibilities. The eight-member group has shared the stage with acts ranging from the Flaming Lips to De La Soul.
