This year will mark the ASA's 3rd Annual "Dress for Success" workplace-appropriate attire workshop. Students often have questions such as "what is business casual?" and "should I wear a tie?" In order to improve the impression our students leave with employers, this event will again feature an Association of Image Consultants International (AICI) member, Zayna Mosam. With past success and a constant turnover in the Faculty of Business, the ASA has made this into an annual event catering to a new group each academic year.
Topics to be covered range from the appropriate colour of socks all the way to how many buttons should be buttoned on a suit jacket for men, and all the way from when sheer versus opaque stockings should be worn, to appropriate workplace jewellery for women. Students will also be able to determine the level of professionalism required at their place of work.
