Less gripe more action!
Here is a 5 week plan for how we are going to win this thing. I would love for you to come down to Vain EVERY TUESDAY till the election for a fun night of art and activism.
Who: YOU and all your liberal friends.
What: Call bank for progressive candidates including OBAMA, create posters and other street level forms of communication, write letters to the editor and organize to Get Out the Vote! All while consuming refreshments and digesting stimulating conversation.
When: 5-8 pm EVERY TUESDAY Oct. 7th, Oct 14th, Oct. 21, Oct 28th and ALL DAY Election Day Nov. 4th
Where: VAIN downtown 2018 1st Ave, Seattle
Why: We can't just sit around sending each other emails about why we are outraged and horrified we need to act and be motivated to win this thing!
October 7th:
Listen to debate, make post-debate phone calls, create GOTV posters, discuss additional ideas for week 2-5
October 14th:
Make calls to persuade voters to Vote for Obama, and other liberal candidates, make GOTV posters, write letters to the editors.
October 21st:
Make GOTV phone calls! Write letters to the editor. Make posters, design concepts for street art and discuss ideas for Election Day activities.
October 28th:
Make GOTV phone calls! Make posters and create street art installations. Finalize plans for Election Day
November 4th:
Hang posters, Install street art, Make phone calls, be available with cars to help people get to the polls, join a group to create visibility.
and finally join the massive street party to celebrate!
